I love this cobbler recipe! I’m just an old lady that feels that cobblers are basic comfort food and a recipe for them shouldn’t be complicated! The beauty of making a cobbler is that it uses normal ingredients found in anyone’s pantry and comes together quickly. Your recipe is perfect. My family loved it on this rainy day and my grandchildren want it to go into the regular rotation. Thank you so much!

Good heavens, this is absolutely the best apple cobbler recipe I have every tasted! I did add more apples to the recipe as I had more apples to use. But wow, I am in heaven with the taste. And it wasn’t too sweet. I will be making this more often with years to come. I want to thank you for everything. My other half had it with ice cream and he loved it too.
I am not a fan of pies so it why I went search for a cobbler, well I am glad I found you. Thank you again, Lori

    Rosie,

I’ve just discovered your food blog and I’ve been perusing over all of your recipes. This recipe was the first one I’ve tried but I will be making many, many more over the next coming weeks. The apple cobbler made with bisquick is WONDERFUL!!! I just wish I had doubled the recipe as my husband is a dessert lover and thought it was delightful. Just reading your recipes and looking at the pictures makes one’s mouth water. Can’t wait to try them all. Your cooking talent is over the moon and I like that the recipes do not have a lot of complicated ingredients. Thank you for such wonderful recipes.

I eat a gluten free and paleo diet which uses honey and maple syrup to sweeten. I tried your recipe with gluten free bisquick and I used half honey and half maple syrup instead of the sugars and it turned out delicious!!
