Delicious homemade peach cobbler made with canned peaches, cinnamon, nutmeg, CÎROC!
It’s been a while since I posted a cobbler recipe. So many of you loved my Grandma’s Southern Peach Cobbler, as well as my very first peach cobbler recipe( the one with store bought pie crust). I figured- “Why not break them off with an adult peach cobbler recipe… Something with a little extra flavor”. I had several ideas, but then I remembered that I had some CÎROC. Why not add some CÎROC to the peach cobbler filling?! Brilliant right? I thought so too! I played around with the ingredients, until I reached the perfect texture for the peach cobbler filling.
I almost made a homemade buttery crust for this cobbler, but I remembered that a lot of you disliked making crust from scratch. Therefore, instead of making a homemade crust, I used yellow cake mix for my cobbler topping….. I didn’t scare you just now did I? I hope not, because the yellow cake mix actually makes a delicious crust. All that you have to do is sprinkle the cake mix on top of the cobbler, then add a little butter on top of it, and you’re good to go!
So I told you that this super delicious homemade peach cobbler is going to have CÎROC in it. But guess what? It’s also going to be layered! Yup.. This cobbler is going to have two freaking layers of “oh…my..effing..goodness” .. So this is what we’re going to do …
- pour the cobbler filling into a bake dish ( I used a round 1 qt baking dish!)
- top it off with cake mix and butter
- bake it until the top is golden brown
- pour MORE cobbler filling on top of the crust
- sprinkle MORE cake mix, then top it off with butter
- then bake…..
Although this peach cobbler has a lot of steps, It is easy to make. Don’t be intimidated!
So FYI, I used canned peaches in heavy syrup for this recipe. You can use frozen or fresh peaches, but let it be known, that you might have to add more sugar.
As far as the CÎROC, I used regular. There is a CÎROC Peach, and if you’d like to use it you can. However, I didn’t have that on hand, and the regular CÎROC worked fine! If you don’t know what CÎROC is…. It’s Vodka…Yes… You will taste it in the cobbler. Although the alcohol will burn off, I still don’t serve it to kids. Just a lil FYI! LOL
Now let’s make this freaking CÎROC Peach Cobbler!

Ciroc Peach Cobber
Ingredients
- 2 29 oz cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 box of yellow cake mix I used Duncan Hines
- 12 tbsp salted butter
- Juice from 1 small lemon
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 400 ml of CÎROC I used plain
Instructions
- Add the peaches, with the syrup, into a large pot or pan.
- Turn the heat to medium, then add in 4 tbsp of butter.
- Sprinkle in the cinnamon, nutmeg, and granulated sugar.
- Next add in the lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
- Stir all of the ingredients.
- Once the mixture is nice and hot, scoop out about a cup of the liquid.
- Sprinkle in the cornstarch into the cup of liquid, and mix.
- Pour the liquid back into the pan, then mix.
- Once the peach cobbler filling starts to thicken, pour in the Ciroc, then stir.
- Remove the pan from the heat.
- Pour half of the cobbler filling into a bake dish, then sprinkle about 1 1/2 cup of cake mix on top.
- Add 4 tbsp of butter on top of the cobbler.
- Bake the cobbler on 350 F, until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove the cobbler from the oven.
- Pour the remaining cobbler filling on top of the crust, then sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of cake mix on top.
- Add 4 tbsp of butter on top of the cobbler.
- Bake until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, and let cool until it's safe to eat.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
- Enjoy!
