A Super Easy Southern Blueberry Cobbler Recipe!
Hey y’all! Who’s ready for a southern style cobbler recipe? I think the last cobbler recipe that I shared with you all was my soul food peach cobbler recipe, and that was months ago! Therefore it’s time to break you off with another homemade cobbler recipe, but this time, we’re making Southern Blueberry Cobbler!
My Southern blueberry cobbler recipe is super easy. It’s very similar to a blueberry pie recipe, because I use pie crust. I know a lot of people love blueberry crisp, and blueberry cobblers cobblers made with bisquick. However I truly prefer using pie crust for my southern blueberry cobbler.
While you’re here, check out some of my other blueberry recipes!
This cobbler uses minimal ingredients, and can be prepared in less than 20 minutes. It’s the perfect ANYTIME dessert, and it’s definitely a crowd pleaser!

The smallest Pyrex I could find was a 9×13 I hope it still comes out great

I like a lot of crust. Do you think I could add a bottom layer of crust, like in Peach Cobbler and it come out the same. I was thinking I could lay a crust in the pan and bake it for 10-15 minutes so that it will harden a little and not absorb all of the moisture from the blueberries. Dies this sound doable?
Rosie says
Absolutely! 🙂
Tiffany says
Can I use this filling to do a pie?
Rosie says
It might have too much juice for a pie

I love this recipe, and how easy it is! I tweaked it a bit to my taste buds by lessening the lemon juice, and adding more of the sugar and nutmeg. I also added some cubes of butter, and used crust at the bottom. Came out delicious! Thank you for this easy recipe!!
