Cheesy garlic mussels recipe! After trying this mussels recipe, you will never need another. It’s just that bomb!
An easy and delicious cheesy garlic mussels recipe!
I love seafood, so when I made this cheesy garlic mussels recipe, and feel completely in love with outcome, I just knew that I had to share the recipe!
These cheesy garlic mussels are smothered in a garlicky butter sauce, that will have you licking you fingers like crazy. They are also topped with cheese, and well – you all know how I love cheese.
Unlike many mussels recipes, these mussels aren’t steamed. Believe it or not, we’re going to be baking them! Like my oven baked crab legs… Remember those?!

Once I figure out where I can buy mussels out here in Moreno Valley, I’m definitely going to try this recipe. I sometimes ask myself why would a seafood lover like me, move to the valley!?!?☺ I would love a STRICTLY SEAFOOD Cajun gumbo recipe. I mean, is that at all possible? Lobsters, shrimp, mussels, oysters, crabs, clams and scallops only!❤ Thank you.
Rosie says
Hi Marta! There isn’t a whole lot of seafood there? That’s not cool 🙁 . I don’t have a cajun gumbo recipe up, but I do have a seafood, chicken, and andouille sausage gumbo uploaded. It has crab, shrimp, chicken, sausage, okra, and more. 🙂

I made these over the holidays. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! The only thing I did differently is I didn’t put them back in the shells to bake them. Instead, I put the mussels in a ceramic baking dish and proceeded. So good! I will definitely be making these again!
Rosie says
Glad that you liked the recipe!

Think I’m just gonna do this with shrimp or scallops in a baking dish. The recipe sounds awesome I just don’t like mussels.
