Should the rice be pre-cooked and tossed in cold or freshly made?

Yes, it should be precooked. I usually make mine a day ahead.

    Rosie,

I made this dish last night for dinner. My boyfriend and I loved it. The only thing that I did different was that I used Ribeye steak and added season salt, and I didnt top with fresh lime slices or use the cilantro. I did wrap it in a Tortilla wrap … and girl it was delicious! Next time I make this dish, I think I will add a little bit of corn. Thanks for the recipe 🙂 Tonight I will be trying your layered baked spaghetti!
