This butter pecan moonshine taste just like the ice cream! It’s amazing, but remember – this is only for adults!!
As many of you know I’ve been sharing quite a few moonshine recipes, since mid summer. Since sharing my first moonshine recipe, the margarita moonshine, I’ve been getting quite a few request for more moonshines. So here I am sharing another!
In this post, we’re going to put some southern flavor into the moonshine mix. We’ll be making some Southern Butter Pecan Moonshine- and yes, it tastes just like the ice cream!!
This recipe has to be made well in advance, so if you plan on making it for a special occasion, make sure you keep that in mind.

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 4 cups Everclear
- 4 oz caramel flavored vodka
- 4 tbsp butter pecan syrup
- 4 tsp vanilla extract
- You will need 4 medium sized mason jars.
Combine the water, brown sugar in a large pot.
Bring up to a gentle boil, then reduce to simmer and cover for 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Add in the Everclear, butter pecan syrup, vanilla extract and caramel vodka, stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into each jar.
Bottle it up in mason jars and either chill in the refrigerator or store in a cool place for at least 1 day.
