A Delicious Recipe for BBQ Meatloaf Meatballs!

Many years ago, when I first started my blog, I shared a recipe for BBQ meatloaf meatballs. A lot of my readers loved the recipe. Still, to this very day, I have no idea how the recipe was deleted from my blog (just like my original smothered potatoes recipe). Seriously, I have no clue what happened to it; however, I am back with my new revised BBQ meatloaf meatballs recipe, and I just know that you’re going to love this one even more than the other.

A close up of a meatloaf meatball smothered in a rich sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.

These BBQ meatloaf meatballs are extremely easy to make, and they are budget friendly. All you need is some cheap ground beef, chopped onions, bell peppers, and a few more ingredients, and you’re good to go.

There are a ton of side dishes that you can serve with these BBQ meatloaf meatballs, but my family loves to eat these flavorful meatloaf meatballs with either mashed potatoes or rice and green beans!

Video won’t play. Do you really put minced garlic in the meatballs? You have minced garlic listed in ingredients but not added in the instructions. Likewise you have BBQ sauce listed in the instructions but not in the ingredient list (other than the 3 tbsp). Please review and fix this as I think it sounds yummy if fixed as intended. Thanks:)

Where is the amount of bbq sauce? It only calls for 3 tablespoons, then later says rest of the sauce.

If using ground turkey, you may want to add maybe 1 tbsp of olive oil, or vegetable oil to keep int moist. 🙂

LOL! I’m so glad you posted this. I’ve been eating lots of meatballs for the past week. I’ve been getting them from the freezer section of my local grocery store – but there is an gamey-off-taste in them. I’m thinking I should try homemade. I’m going to get some almond flour to sub for the bread crumbs. I’ll let you know how it comes out! Thanks for this post!

How much BBQ sauce is needed? It’s missing from the ingredients list.

Just a note (freely delete this comment afterwards), the recipe does not say how much BBQ sauce. I was attempting to watch the video, but there is an error (232404 via computer and 224003 via iphone) and I was unable to watch it. I am guessing it isn’t a big deal because it is BBQ sauce and is there such a thing as too much? LOL! Cooking it now, so I will rate it later. 😀

    I LOVE your recipes!!!
