These easy Parmesan salmon foil packs can be made in under 25 minutes, it’s perfect for busy weeknights!
Hey cousins! Since the beginning of my blog career, I’ve always gotten a lot of recipe requests for salmon. It doesn’t matter the time of the year, someone always wants a salmon recipe. I’ve shared recipes for fried salmon and smoked salmon in my cookbooks. However, I think it’s time to share a couple more recipes here on my blog. I wanted to start off with a super simple salmon recipe. Therefore, I’m going to tell you how to make baked parmesan salmon foil packs!
First things first. This recipe is very straightforward. It’s practically foolproof. This recipe can feed 1-2 people (depending on their appetites), so if you plan on feeding more people, feel free to double or triple!
Ingredients for Easy Parmesan Salmon Foil Packs
- ½ lb filet of salmon: Any salmon will do for this particular recipe.
- 1 1/2 cups green beans: I like to use fresh green beans from my garden when I’m able to. If I don’t have fresh green beans, I use frozen. I never use canned green beans for this recipe
- 1 tablespoon olive oil: avocado oil is a great substitution if you don’t have any olive oil on hand.
- 1 large tomato: I almost always have beefsteak tomatoes on hand. However, you can use romas, juliettes, and other tomatoes if you’d like!
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese: shred your own right off the block or buy pre-shredded.
- 1/2 tsp seasoning salt from Rosamae Seasonings
- 1 tsp garlic pepper, I used Rosamae Seasonings
- ½ tsp Herbs De Provence from Rosamae Seasonings
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes: I like a little kick to my salmon. If you’re not a spicy fan, the red pepper can be omitted.
How to Prepare Salmon Foil Packs
For this particular recipe, I will give you instructions on how to cook these parmesan salmon packs in the oven. However, these packs can also be tossed on the grill! I love making salmon packs on the grill during the warm months. It’s easy, and I don’t have to worry about turning on the oven and heating up my house! If you make the salmon packs on the grill, the timing and temperature should remain the same.
Oven cooking directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 F.
- Place foil on the bottom of a baking sheet.
- Add in green beans and sliced tomatoes.
- Drizzle the oil, then sprinkle on the seasonings.
- Cover the salmon pack with foil, then place in the oven for 15 minutes.

What to Serve with Salmon Foil Packs
Since these salmon packs include vegetables, they are pretty much a meal by themselves. However, If I make a side, I usually just make a simple garden salad to keep this meal on the lighter, and easy side.
