Awesome! I will post a few simple halloween recipes :-).
Hi Rosie,
I made the Snickerdoodle Bars this afternoon and they are delicious! I did add a tsp of vanilla extract in the batter, but not because I thought it would need it, I just like vanilla extract. They will not last, they’ll be gone tonight once my family gets a hold of them. Hey, nothing wrong with that
Hi Grace! Vanilla should have been listed! haha. I fixed it. Glad that you were able to work it in there.:-)
could I use almond flour instead of all purpose flour?
I actually never tried it. Couldn’t tell ya hun 🙁
Hi Rosie,
Just stopped by to tell ya I had a Snickerdoodle Bar this morning with my cup of coffee. Warmed in the microwave for 10 seconds, GIRRL!…that’s all I’m sayin’
LOL! Glad that you liked the recipe!
I love Snickerdoodles and I love easy recipes. I will make these and let you know how it turned out. Thanks Rosie
Thanks for coming by!
Should the parchment paper line just the bottom of the pan? Or should it come up the sides of the pan also? Thank you! Will make these soon!
It should come up on the sides as well.
My bars weren’t done once they cooled to room temperature although I took them out of the oven after 28 minutes. How long is too long to bake them? I placed them in a covered baking pan in the refrigerator so hopefully they harden a bit more.
I don’t think refrigerating them will do much. It just sounds like they needed to be cooked longer.
Wowza these are incredible! Mine turned out like a cross between a cake and a cookie. Total perfection! I added some spices to the batter; cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger (just a pinch of each) and added a diced apple. Calling them Apple-doodles. Baked for 38 minutes. I’m gonna set a timer to see how fast they disappear at work. Thank you so much for sharing!
