How to make Easy and Delicious Crab Cakes

7/5/15

These super easy crab cakes can be made on the stove top or the grill

Crab cakes that can made on the grill or stove top!

I have a sweet, and very persistent, subscriber on Youtube that has been asking me to make crab cakes for a while now. Since she has been very patient with me ( well kind of, LOL!), I decided to throw some crab cakes on the grill and record them… YES –  I grilled them!! Believe it or not, it was quite easy to do ( watch the video below), and it wasn’t time consuming at all.

This classic, easy crab cake recipe is a summer favorite

These crab cakes can be done on the grill ( with a cast iron griddle) or on the stove top. I used canned crab meat, because it was easy to find, but you can use fresh crab meat.

Here’s the recipe

I followed your crab cake recipe, and added canned salmon – OMG girlfriend!! They were to absolutely die for! The secret seems to be in the bread cubes vice crumbs. They stayed together & I cooked them on the stove. Thanks!! – Laura

I made six large patties. You can make 12 small patties as well.

From: @Jonnyonthespotcakes (IG) Hey, Rosie! I will have to try this recipes. In the past I have tried to make crab cakes and they always fall apart. I think this is because I always deep fry them. So note to self, lightly oil the pan. Thanks for this!
