An Easy, Do-It-Yourself Recipe for Homemade Lemon Body Scrub!

I love body scrubs, bath bombs, and all other stuff; however, because of my dry skin, I can’t use a lot of the goodies sold in stores because of all the chemicals in the products.

Golden-yellow lemon body scrub in clear glass jars wrapped in a yellow and white ribbon sitting on a rustic wooden table. It's like sunshine in a jar!

Usually the store bought stuff leaves my skin extremely tight, dry, and dare I say it….ASHY!

Petite glass jars filled with sunshine-yellow lemon body scrub ready to be gifted!

For the past few years, I’ve actually been making most of my personal care products such as bath salts, scrubs, body creams, bath bombs, and hair moisturizers.

While you’re here, check out some of my other recipes!

Lemon zest is sprinkled throughout this beautiful and fragrant lemon body scrub.

By making my own beauty products, I am able to control how much of what is in each item.

Hi Rosie! Please keep sharing!! Mi skin is extremely dry & my dermatologist says I have keratosis pilaris. I want to try this recipe asap but I have one question. I’ve read that when you’ve heat oils it causes them to lose their nutrients, will it be ok if I melt the coconut oil in a hot water bath instead? You think the end result will be the same?
