Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It’s the perfect time to bring family together and discuss everything that we are thankful for. I don’t know about you, but I’m always thankful when I have a margarita in my hand. Especially during family events, because there’s always that one (or 5) family member that will have you wishing that you had a drink. C’mon – don’t act like I’m the only one that feels this way around the holidays! We all have that annoying cousin or uncle that makes you wish you had a margarita, or three, engaging into a conversation with them.
Well folks, wish no more. Your girl has you covered. I’m going to share my Thanksgiving Margarita recipe with you all.
These Thanksgiving Margaritas are the bomb! It’s like spiked apple juice with a splash of orange and maple. I like my margaritas on the rocks, but if you prefer to blend this margarita recipe, you can!
I use apple juice for this Thanksgiving Margarita recipe, but if you want to get fancy with it, you can use apple cider.
This recipe should make about two servings, but it’s really easy to double and even triple!
Try this Thanksgiving Margarita recipe and tell me what you think.
I’m a Soul Food blogger living in the Pacific Northwest, bringing Southern cooking to gorgeous Seattle, Washington. I was born and raised in the PNW, but my family roots go all the way to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where my grandparents were born and raised. I live every day to bring the traditional values, recipes, and love of food to life for my family—whether they’re online or in real life. So, welcome to the party, family!
This is perfect. I’ve been on the hunt for a new Thanksgiving cocktail. Last year we created one and called it a ClareBerry. I can’t remember what it was. So this year I was looking for something new….enter the Thanksgiving Margarita. THANK YOU!!!
This looks really good. Just one thing. I don’t drink alcohol. What would you use instead of tequila?
Try using Sprite. LOL
