Hey cousins! It’s time to sit back, relax and sip a nice tropical frozen drink. In this post, I’ll be sharing my recipe for my amazing Island Crush Frozen Margarita. This recipe is quite simple; however, the ingredient list is pretty long, so let’s get to that first.
How to Make an Island Crush Frozen Margarita
Ingredient list
Orange Layer
- 1 oz pulp-free orange juice
- 1 oz Grand Mariner
- 2 oz Margarita Mix
- 2 cups of ice
- Guava Layer
- 1 oz Guava Puree Infused Syrup
- 1 oz Tequila
- 2 oz Margarita Mixture
- 2 cups ice
Passion Fruit Layer
- 1 oz Passion Fruit Puree syrup
- 1 oz Tequila Liquor
- 2 oz of Margarita Mixture
- 2 cups ice
Coconut Layer
- 2 oz Malibu Rum
- 2 oz Pina Colada Mixture
- 2 cups of Ice
Strawberry Layer
- 1 oz Tequila
- 2 oz Strawberry Margarita Mixture
- 2 cups of Ice
Garnishing
- Sweetened Shredded Coconut
- Maraschino Cherries
- Fresh Pineapple
Tools needed
You will need an excellent-quality blender for this recipe! Also, have cocktail glasses and knives on hand to cut up the fruit for garnishing.

Island Crush Frozen Margarita
Ingredients
Orange Layer
- 1 oz pulp-free orange juice
- 1 oz Grand Mariner
- 2 oz Margarita Mix
- 2 cups of ice
Guava Layer
- 1 oz Guava Puree Infused Syrup
- 1 oz tequila
- 2 oz Margarita Mixture
- 2 cups crushed ice
Passion Fruit Layer
- 1 oz Passion Fruit Puree syrup
- 1 oz Tequila Liquor
- 2 oz of Margarita Mixture
- 2 cups crushed ice
Coconut Layer
- 2 oz Malibu Rum
- 2 oz Pina Colada Mixture
- 2 cups of Ice
Strawberry Layer
- 1 oz Tequila
- 2 oz Strawberry Margarita Mixture
- 2 cups crushed Ice
Instructions
- Decorate the glass rim.
- Pour your simple syrup onto one small plate.
- In a separate dish, add your toasted coconut.
- Dip your glass into the simple syrup and then into the coconut. Set the glass to the side.
Orange Layer:
- Add all of your ingredients for the orange layer in the blender.
- Blend on high until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Pour your orange mixture into a small bowl or ziplock bag
- Place it in the freezer until the next flavor is made.
Guava layer
- Add all of your ingredients for the Guava layer in the blender.
- Blend on high until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Pour your Guava mixture into a small bowl or ziplock bag
- Place it in the freezer until the next flavor is made.
Passion Fruit layer
- Add all of your ingredients for the Passion fruit layer in the blender.
- Blend on high until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Pour your Passion fruit mixture into a small bowl or ziplock bag
- Place it in the freezer until the next flavor is made.
Coconut layer
- Add all of your ingredients for the pink coconut layer in the blender.
- Blend on high until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Pour your coconut mixture into a small bowl or ziplock bag
- Place it in the freezer until the next flavor is made.
Strawberry layer
- Add all of your ingredients for the Strawberry layer in the blender.
- Blend on high until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Pour your Strawberry mixture into a small bowl or ziplock bag
- Place it in the freezer until the next flavor is made.
Creating the cocktail:
- Pour your Orange mixture into the glass.
- Add the Guava mixture layer to the glass.
- Add the Passion Fruit mixture layer to the glass.
- Add the coconut mixture layer to the glass.
- Top off with the Strawberry mixture layer.
- Lightly stir to combine.
- Garnish and enjoy.
