Preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl, add the eggs and mix until everything is one color.

Next, add in the sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.

Grab the pie shell and sprinkle the chopped pecans into the center.

Next, pour the pecan pie filling over the pecans.
Place the pie on a cookie sheet and place in a preheated oven. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes.
Remove and let cool completely before serving. Refrigerate the pie after 2 hours.
