A true southern classic, you can't beat a pecan pie! This semi-homemade recipe is super simple and so delicious, it's the perfect holiday pie recipe.

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • In a large bowl, add the eggs and mix until everything is one color.
    4 large eggs
  • Next, add in the sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
    1 cup light corn syrup, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 2 tbsp salted butter, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, 1 tablespoon bourbon vanilla extract
  • Grab the pie shell and sprinkle the chopped pecans into the center.
    1 1/4 cup pecans, 1 9-inch deep dish pie shell
  • Next, pour the pecan pie filling over the pecans.
  • Place the pie on a cookie sheet and place in a preheated oven. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes.
  • Remove and let cool completely before serving. Refrigerate the pie after 2 hours.
  • Serve, and enjoy!
