  • 2 lbs turkey wings cut into sections
  • 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • seasoned flour
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • * enough oil to deep fry with


  • Place the turkey wing pieces into a large container. Season the wings with 1 tbsp poultry seasoning, minced garlic, and onion wedges. Pour the buttermilk all over the turkey, and let brine over night, for 8 hours.
  • Drain the wings, and discard the buttermilk. Rinse the wings under water, then set aside.
  • In a large bowl add the all purpose flour, 1 tbsp poultry seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, and seasoning salt. Sift ingredients.
  • Coat the wings with the seasoned flour.
  • Heat the oil until it reaches approximately 360 F, then slowly drop the wings into the oil.
  • Fry the wings until golden brown and completely cooked.
  • Place the wings on a paper towel lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
  • Serve!
