Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Rinse under cold water and set aside to chill.
8 oz penne pasta
Prepare the green pepper, red pepper, cherry tomatoes, and red onion. Drain the juice from the can of olives.
1/2 cup green pepper, 1/2 cup red pepper, 1 cup cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup red onion, 1 cup black olives
In a large bowl, combine the pasta, diced peppers, tomatoes, onion, olives, pepperoni, and mozzarella.
1 cup mini pepperoni, 1 cup mozzarella
Toss the salad with the Italian dressing until well coated.
1 cup Italian dressing
Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Garnish with fresh basil or other optional garnishes before serving.
