Slow Cooker Apple Butter Recipe
This apple butter makes a perfect breakfast spread for anything from toast to biscuits, waffles and more. Can a large batch to enjoy later!

Ingredients

Pounds
of Granny Smith Apples
peeled & sliced

Cup
white sugar
1/4
cup
brown sugar
1/4
cup
100% maple syrup
1
tbsp
lemon juice
1
tbsp
of round cinnamon
1/2
tsp
ground nutmeg
1 1/2
tbsp
of vanilla
Instructions
Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray.
Toss the apple into the slow cooker
Add the white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla.
Toss the apples until completely coated.
Set the slow cooker on low, and cook for 10 hours.
After 10 hours, the apple butter will be dark and thickened.
Whisk to make it a bit more smooth.
Let cool.
Serve and enjoy!

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
