Nothing beats homemade gravy! This turkey gravy is savory, delicious and so simple to make.

  • Turkey drippings about 5 cups
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour


  • Skim off fat from drippings, approximately ½ cup.
  • Add the fat to a pan.
  • Turn heat to medium-high.
  • Start sprinkling in some flour, a little bit at a time, whisking as you do so.
  • Once flour is whisked in, slowly whisk in the remaining turkey drippings (approximately 4-½ cups), about one cup at a time.
  • Continuously whisk ingredients together to avoid lumps.
  • Turn heat down to low.
  • Simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  • Test gravy with a spoon to ensure it is the desired thickness.
  • Serve.
