Nothing beats homemade gravy! This turkey gravy is savory, delicious and so simple to make.
Servings 6 servings
- Turkey drippings about 5 cups
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
Skim off fat from drippings, approximately ½ cup.
Add the fat to a pan.
Turn heat to medium-high.
Start sprinkling in some flour, a little bit at a time, whisking as you do so.
Once flour is whisked in, slowly whisk in the remaining turkey drippings (approximately 4-½ cups), about one cup at a time.
Continuously whisk ingredients together to avoid lumps.
Turn heat down to low.
Simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
Test gravy with a spoon to ensure it is the desired thickness.
