Instant Pot Candied Yams
This Instant Pot version of my most popular candied yams recipe is the perfect holiday side dish - ready in just a few minutes!
Servings 12 servings
Ingredients
- 5 medium sized yams peeled & sliced
- 8 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground clove
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup water
OPTIONAL If you want a thicker syrup
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients into the Instant Pot, and make give everything a nice stir.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker, and make sure everything is secure.
- Let cook on the normal setting for 15 minutes.
- Serve & enjoy!
