Classic Meatloaf Recipe
Homemade classic meatloaf recipe made with lean ground beef, oats, onions, peppers, and more.
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 large yellow onion diced
- 1 large green bell pepper diced
- 1 cup uncooked quick oats
- 2 large eggs lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup.
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Use your hands or a kitchen utensil to combine everything until it's well incorporated.
Next, lightly oil a loaf pan then stuff in the ground beef.
Leave the meatloaf uncovered, then bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven.
Pour the ketchup all over the meatloaf.
Leave the meatloaf uncovered, then place back into the oven for an additional 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, and let sit for 8 minutes.
Serve, and enjoy!
