Southern Butter Pecan Moonshine

In this post, we're going to put some southern flavor into the moonshine mix. We'll be making some Southern Butter Pecan Moonshine- and yes, it tastes just like the ice cream!!
This recipe has to be made well in advance, so if you plan on making it for a special occasion, make sure you keep that in mind.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 4 cups Everclear
  • 4 oz caramel flavored vodka
  • 4 tbsp butter pecan syrup
  • 4 tsp vanilla extract
  • You will need 4 medium sized mason jars.

Instructions

  • Combine the water, brown sugar in a large pot. 
  • Bring up to a gentle boil, then reduce to simmer and cover for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature. 
  • Add in the Everclear, butter pecan syrup, vanilla extract and caramel vodka, stir to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into each jar.
  • Bottle it up in mason jars and either chill in the refrigerator or store in a cool place for at least 1 day.
  • Serve & enjoy!
