French Toast Recipe
French toast is a classic breakfast. This easy recipe is perfect for a weekend family brunch - everyone will be going for seconds!

- 12 slices of french toast bread OR thick sliced bread
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup melted butter
In large bowl or dish, crack open three eggs and beat them.
Next, pour in the milk, and add in the: brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir, then pour in the melted butter and stir again.
Start adding the bread to milk and egg mixture. Let each slice stay in the wet mix for about 10 seconds.
Spray your pan or griddle with non-stick spray, and place it over medium heat.
Once the griddle/pan is hot, add the bread on top.
Toast each side of the bread until it is nice and golden brown.
Serve immediately with butter, syrup, or powdered sugar.
