Cream the butter, shortening, and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
Add in the brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, vanilla, and baking soda. Mix until well combined.
Change the mixing attachments on your mixer to the dough hook.
Gradually start sprinkling in the flour.
Once everything is well combined, add in the chocolate chips, and toffee chips. Mix or fold in.
Lightly oil a cooking sheet, and spoon out the dough.
Bake on 350 F for 7-10 minutes.
Remove from the oven, and place the cookies on a cooling rack until cook.
