I just realized that I have never uploaded a complete Collard Green recipe for all of my friends! I honestly don’t know how that recipe slipped my mine considering it’s on of my favorite dishes EVER. Though I have several ways how I like to cook my collard greens, I want to first share my recipe for collard greens and smoked turkey.
I choose this collard green recipe to share first, because it is actually one of my quickest recipes. Unlike smoked neckbones, or hamhocks, smoked turkey doesn’t take hours to cook before it starts to fall of the bone. If your smoked turkey isn’t frozen before hand, it should only take about 30 minutes to cook before you can start removing the meat from the bone. Another plus is smoked turkey is by far less fattening than hamhocks , and the other popularly used smoked meats.I would personally just serve this deliciousness with cornbread, and that should be plenty! I hope you all enjoy this one, and don’t forget to leave a comment below, and print out this recipe.
